The moons gravity affects the earth in that it controls the tides, making the tides go higher and lower. The earths gravity affects the moon in that it keeps the moon orbiting the earth and not the sun.

  2. Mya says:

Gravity helps keep the earth up and moving, it also keeps everything from earth flying up into space. Gravity helps the moon by keeping it steady with the earth and helps it go along with the earth.

  3. Lydia says:

I think gravity affects the earth and its moon in a few different ways. Gravity can affect the orbits they are in and where they are at what time. The gravity can cause the planets to rotate and depending on where the moon is and how much sunlight is hitting it, we will only see certain parts of the moon from the earth.

  4. Samara says:

I claim gravity affects the Earth and its moon. My evidence is gravity causes the moon to orbit the Earth through centripetal force. Also, the moon causes ocean tides.

  5. Elijah says:

I state that the gravity affects the tides on earth because of the moons orbit. The moon also orbits earth only because of gravity. Gravity on earth also allows us to jump, and make trebuchet.

  6. Amaryllis says:

I claim the gravity affects the Earth and it’s moon by like how the moon can make the tides rise and fall and the motion of moon is affected by both the Earth and the sun so it keeps in it’s orbit.

  7. Eben says:

Well the earths gravitational pull is the only reason why we even have a moon. The moon is also the reason why large body’s of water on earth are able to support waves. On the moon, there is much smaller affects on gravity because of the moons size making it not have a strong gravitational pull, also the earth gravitational pull affects the moon. If you were a astronaut and you jumped on the moon you would float up pretty high because of the earths pull.

  8. Allyssa says:

I claim that gravity affects the Earth and our moon by making the moon revolve around Earth, the effect of the moon’s gravitational pull on our ocean tides, and gravity keeps Earth revolving around the sun. My evidence is that the moon revolves around Earth and that’s why we see different moon phases. Also, when the moon goes over a certain area its gravitational pull moves the water and causes it to kind of swell. Lastly, Earth’s revolving around the sun is the cause of our day-and-night cycle.

  9. Raegan says:

Gravity is a force that is seen in our everyday life, it pulls our body down to the earth. Gravity can be seen when you jump, your body always ends up going back down. The moon helps the tides rise and fall with its gravity. Earth orbits the sun with the help of the sun’s gravitational pull. Earth’s gravity is helping the moon orbit the earth.

  10. Shae says:

Gravity causes our largest satellite, the moon, to stay near us. Gravity is constantly pulling on the moon, and bringing it toward the Earth, which causes the Earth’s tides, by causing it to fluctuate up or down based on where it is, and can increase in size if it is closer to the Earth.

  11. Lily says:

The moon’s gravitational pull is the main reason why we have the oceans tides. It makes it rise and fall. The earth and sun are orbiting because of the moon’s motion.

  12. cyrus says:

I claim that gravity affects the earth and the moon my evidence is. Without gravity the moon would be just a floating rock drifting through space but. With gravity pulling the moon towards the earth the moon stays in orbit. But on a larger scale gravity is holding the earth in orbit to the sun.

  13. Kyleisha says:

I claim that gravity affects the Earth and Moon by making sure things don’t go flying up to space. For example if you were in space, you’d float up because of gravitational pull.

  14. Ally says:

The moons gravity affects the tides here on Earth, the moon is the main cause of the rise and fall of our ocean tides. The gravity here on earth makes the moon revolve around earth rather then the sun.

  15. Josh G. says:

Gravity affects the earth and moon by pulling them closer together. But because the speed moon traveling through space is the same speed it would otherwise be falling, the moon is actually falling around the earth.

  16. Aji says:

The earth gravity effects the moon by keeping it in orbit around earth. the moon effects earths tides and weather. the earths has stronger gravity, the moon has weak gravity because of its small size

  17. Frank says:

I claim that the earth gravity keeps the moon from going outward and so it keeps it in our atmosphere. I also claim that the moon’s gravity keeps the earth from going outward and keeping us in a position forever(until the sun runs out and destroys the earth).

  18. Maddox says:

The earth has a stronger gravity and holds the moon in a orbit which also affect’s earths tide’s which can get higher or lower.

  19. chello says:

I claim that gravity affects the earth and its moon. One of the biggest ways is in the earth and moons orbit which is all centered on their gravitational pull.
This is also the cause of the lunar cycle.

  20. briar says:

I claim that gravity from earth pulls everything towards the ground or towards the center of a planet. Earths relationship with the moon pulls the moon around the earth in only 29.5 days. But eventually the gravity from earth will cause the moon to crumble which will result in catastrophe all around the world.

  21. Cade says:

As you probably know Earth has gravity. Gravity is the thing that holds everything down. But what you probably didn’t know is that the Earth’s gravity holds our moon in orbit. Yes, our gravity is that strong.

  22. Aurora says:

The Earth’s gravity holds the moon into orbit and can affect earth’s tides that can get higher or lower.

  23. grace says:

I claim that the main thing that causes a gravity in the solar system is the moon. The moon is the main thing that keeps the solar system orbiting around the sun. That is what also causes the lower tides and upper tides. The moon’s gravity is also the main cause on the lunar cycle because like i said before all the gravity that is from the moon is what makes the earth orbit around the sun and then when the sun hits a certain part of the moon that is the part of the moon that we can see at night.

  24. Conner says:

I claim that the earth and the moon are both affected by gravity but in different ways. The moon’s gravity is lower than earth’s gravity. The moon affects ocean tides on the earth. Gravity causes the moon to orbit around the earth.

  25. Kashauna says:

I claim that the gravity affects the Earth and it’s moon because the moon orbits the Earth, and the only way the moon would be able to orbit the Earth is by gravitational pull. It goes around and around the Earth everyday. The moon has
gravitational pull creates tides in the ocean as well.

  26. daniel says:

How gravity affects the earth and its moon is that are gravity keep the moon in the orbit of the earth. However the moon will not stay in the earth orbit forever because the moon every circle will be getting farther and farther away until it breaks free from the earth’s orbit and most likely the gravity of the sun will pull the moon into the sun’s orbit.

  27. Kiara says:

I claim that gravity can affect the Earth and the moon by pulling them together. It can control the tides and it can also help the Earth keep still instead of flying all over space. The gravitational pull can move the moon around the Earth.

  28. Robert says:

I claim that the earth affects the moon’s gravity since the moon orbits around the earth and the moon affects the earth’s weather by making it dark or bright. The moon gets in front of the sun and it’s called an eclipse (something that I missed cause I was sleeping.) It only happens once in a lifeitme for some people.

  29. glenn says:

I claim that the earth’s moon has different gravity forces. The moon’s gravity is called “zero gravity”. If the moon didn’t have the earth’s gravity it would fly off somewhere never to be seen again.

  30. Gaven says:

I claim that earth’s gravity affects the moon by gravitational pull which makes the moon orbit the earth.

  31. JP says:

I claim that the earth’s physical appearance is there because of craters caused by volcanoes and meteors. There are also Maria’s which are very dark and flat. Rilles are basically shallow valleys or trenches. Highlands which are like tall hills. The low gravity and the cold on the moon make it so there is no life on it.
