Let’s Start with the Sun
We are starting the year learning about the universe! Tell me what you know about our sun. Remember to check your grammar, spelling, and punctuation before posting.
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope. BARACK OBAMA
We are starting the year learning about the universe! Tell me what you know about our sun. Remember to check your grammar, spelling, and punctuation before posting.
I now that the sun is a star and the earth go’s around the sun.
What I know about the Sun is that it is the biggest planet of them all and all of the plants need the sun. All of said planets circle around the sun.
The Sun is a giant hot flaming ball of gas. Planets like earth and mars orbit around the sun.
The sun is a fire ball of gas and fire that keeps the planets in our solar system in order. Whether the planets are livable or not, the sun keeps our plants in their rotation. If we did not have the sun, the planet’s rotation would most likely revolve around Jupiter. The sun keeps our planets in their place, and provides a source of light, energy, and nutrients that many species on Earth need. The vitamins that the sun gives us are very important for us, as if we didn’t have them, we wouldn’t have plants, melanin, and heat to keep us alive. Our bodies need the warmth from the sun to survive how we do now. The sun is also constantly growing, and it is believed that in a few billion years, the sun will grow an exponential rate that could swallow Mercury, Venus, and Earth. But chances are, we will have grown as a society enough to figure out how to save the planets from being swallowed, or find new ones to inhabit.
What I know about our sun is that it is a normal-sized yellow star that was made around 4.6 billion years ago. As a yellow star, it has a normal-sized lifetime, not a fast one like a red giant, or a long one like a white dwarf. Because of its normal size, it will never supernova and turn into the rare neutron star or even rarer black-hole.
I also know that our sun was made from “the” solar nebula and as the sun started to form, gravity around the newborn star flattened the rest of the solar nebula into a neat disk that eventually became our solar system.
Good thing I read a lot.
The sun is super hot and huge. Its over four billion years old. And the sun is the star at the center of the solar system.
The sun is a giant star with the surface temperature thousands of degrees higher than the earths. It’s high heats and constant fire cause it to brightly glow, earning its name as the sun because of how close it was to the earth and how it provided warmth and light during the daytime.
Things I know about the sun: I know that it’s a star, it’s made of fire, all the planets orbit around it, and it’s really big. I also know that it’s radius is 432,690 miles.
I know that one day the sun will consume the earth. And that The Sun is traveling at 220 km per Second.
I don’t know a lot about the sun but I guess that’s what this blog is for. I know the sun is a star, that it gives warmth to the earth and that it will eventually explode like most stars do. I do believe that there are extra terrestrial life forms on all other planets including the sun but that doesn’t really matter. I’m not really one for science but this seems interesting.
What I know about the sun, is that it is a star that is very far from Earth. The light in the sky during the day comes from the sun. When the sun isn’t shining on you, it is because the Earth is turned in such a way that the sun is blocked from you. It is shining on the other side of the Earth. Every planet orbits the sun. Our years are measured by how long it takes for our planet to orbit the sun. It takes three-hundred sixty-five days and about six hours. To make it easier on ourselves selves we just add an extra day every fourth year representing those few hours that have built up over the past four years.
I know that the sun is the center of our whole galaxy. I also know that the Sun sends out energy that heats up the Earth and other planets. One more thing is that the Sun is 5.6 billion years old and is set to supernova in another few billion years.
The sun is a large star. Without the sun we would be in freezing cold weather.
The sun is a huge ball of gas on fire 10 billion times bigger the Earth.
And it gives as vitamin C, heat, and lite but it is also trying to give us cancer.
The sun is in the center of our solar system as the planets around it orbit around it. A thing about the sun is that the sun can hold more than one million earths without any other space. The sun is about 100 times wider than earth and 300,000 times bigger than our earth.
The sun is a large burning hot star that is surprisingly loud and if we could hear it we would all be deaf. During the summer we are closer and during and the winter we are further from the sun.
The sun is a flaming ball of gas with a huge gravitational pull. It also has solar flares but i can not remember what causes them.
The sun is considered a star. Then sun is also so hot, human beings physically can not live or land on the sun. The sun is also the perfect distance away from planet earth, so if the sun was one inch away from where the sun already is, the earth would be too cold. If the sun was one inch closer to earth from where the sun already is, everything on earth would burn to ashes.
The sun Gives light and energy around the world
The sun is the center of our universe and if the sun was just another inch away from the earth the earth.would be too cold. But if the sun was an inch closer the earth would be too hot for us to live here. The sun is a star or a big ball of flame and gas that if you get close to will melt or burn you immediately.
The Earth is about 1.3 millions times bigger than the sun and 100 times wider
The sun is big and hot. Apparently, if sound could travel through space it would be as loud as a jackhammer all the time.
