I think “weather” is a single event that happens every so often, like a thunderstorm or a blizzard. I think “climate” is the overall pattern of weather over a long period of time like this place’s climate is damp of this ones dry.

  2. Tori says:

The difference in climate and weather, I think is that climate is like the temperature, and the weather is like rain, snow,. That would be my guess to what the difference is.

  3. Julian says:

Weather is the climate at the current time, while climate is the pattern of weather over a long period of time

  4. Bella says:

Weather is more of where you are currently, ex. Bemidji. Climate is the weather for a large area, ex. Beltrami County.

  5. Louis says:

Weather is the temperature and precipitation over a short period of time like a week. Climate is the temperature and precipitation over a long period of time like a year.

  6. jamessa says:

Climate is like more permanent, as for weather is changes all the time.

  7. Leo says:

Climate is the long term patterns in an area, an example would be in somewhere like a desert is very humid and dry while something like a rainforest is very wet and cool. Weather is more of the short term patterns of an area such as snow in the winter or rain in the spring.

  8. Matia says:

The weather is the current state of the outdoors temperature, precipitation, and sun exposure wise. The climate is the year long pattern of weather in an area.

  9. Chris says:

I believe that the weather is the current temperature etc. in that area, but with climate its the permanent temperature and such in that area. For example today it is rainy outside but it isn’t always rainy and then an example for climate it would be like the arctic it is always cold there.

  10. emma says:

Climate is the areas normal temperature throughout the year, and the normal amount or precipitation throughout the year. Weather is erratic and unpredictable and that’s why its different from climate.

  11. Maverick says:

Weather is the current being and state of where you are, such as the clouds and the chance of rain or snow. Climate is the line of weather in a set amount of time, whether that be the temperature or any type of weather changes. The main difference is the time.

  12. zoey says:

The difference between weather and Climate is the extent of time it is studied. Weather is the current time while climate is the study of long-term patterns.

  13. Caleb says:

Weather is the changing precipitation or other forms of temporary events. Climate is the unchanging patterns of weather of an area.

  14. Landon says:

Climate is for a long period of time. And weather is for a short period of time.

  15. Drake says:

Weather is the thing that is studied currently, for things like storms, etc. Climate is a thing studied after a long period, so instead of studying just one day, with Climate you’re studying a longer time period, for patterns.

  16. Marin says:

I think the difference between weather and climate is that weather is different everyday and climate is the temperature range in different places around the world.

  17. Triston says:

I think Climate is the habitat or landscape of an area. I think the Weather determines the Climate of a place.

  18. Travis says:

Climate is the different temperatures and weather that a certain biome or area has. Weather is a loose term for the forecast or current temperature of one place.

  19. Brogynn says:

The difference between weather and climate, is weather is everyday weather, like it can snow one day, and rain the next. And climate is a long period of weather over a long time.

  20. Rai says:

Climate is the study of weather over a long period of time.Water is a shorter sudy so the difference is the amount of time studied

  21. Ellie says:

Weather is sort term and will go away but climate is never ending daily weather spectrum.

  22. addie says:

Climate is what the weather is all the time, like if it’s a wet place it probably rains alot, if it’s dry it probably hardly rains. And weather is a temporary thing because if it rains it will only rain for a few hours or if it snows it won’t do that all week.

  23. Izabel says:

There are four seasons that include, Summer, Spring, Winter and Fall. Summer and spring is usually the hot and warm seasons because of the amount of sunshine we get that year around. Winter and fall are known as the cold seasons where there is not as much sunshine, but there is snow. I think weather is the right name to call seasons.

  24. Victoria says:

Weather could change at any given moment, and Climate stays for a period of time.
