What impact from climate change that you’ve read about do you think will have the most impact on you? Explain why you chose that one. Responses should be at least three sentences and include

  • a capital letter at the beginning of the sentences.

  • punctuation at the end of the sentences.

  • correct spelling of all words.

Changing environment, because I like to hunt and go 4 wheeling in the woods. With the changing climate, animal patterns change and maybe they move to different environments which makes it harder to hunt. The trails that are in the woods may be very different and not as accessible with the change in the environment.

The impact of climate change that I think will impact me the most is the scenery being ruined by various causes. Of course it does not/will not affect me personally but it’s the thought of not being able to make it somewhere you wish you could go. Like eventually when all of the icebergs and glaciers melt, we will experience lots of flooding and many many countries will be gone and animals will be extinct.

  3. mason g says:

Global warming will have the biggest effect. I think that it will have the biggest effect on me because it can increase temperatures, it can cause droughts which would limit the usage of water in the world. It can make species go extinct, causes rising sea levels, and what ive seen more storms and more severe storms.

An impact from climate change that I think affects me the most is the greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. The greenhouse gasses have the most impact because we need to breathe in air from the atmosphere and the gasses are polluting the air. When we breathe in the polluted air, it really affects or impacts our human health.

  5. Moth says:

Frequent storms will probably have the most significant effect on me because I live in an area where storms are already pretty common, and the idea of that getting worse is scary. If storms are more frequent, trees would crash into our house more often and the actual house will be damaged. We know someone whose roof collapsed during a storm and that might happen to us.

  6. Ellie says:

What climate change will affect for me.
I really enjoy being on the TrekNorth Sundogs track and skiing teams, without snow we can’t ski, and if it’s too hot we will just turn into big melty piles of runners. Right on the track.
I know I will graduate before there isn’t any more snow but still, snow is essential to our ecosystem. And nobody wants to be a mushy, melty, gooey pile of grossness.

  7. Caitlin says:

I think global warming will have the most impact on me. Global warming can affect me in certain ways, winters are shorter and don’t get as much snow as we did years ago. It can also affect summer and how many things I can do during it.

  8. Duran C. says:

Drought would have the most impact on me and my community. Last year, I noticed that the temperature was hotter than it was in recent years and the water level decreased slightly. I chose drought because it’s more noticeable in my area since water is life.

  9. Emi says:

I think that drought will be the effect that would impact us most, Yes natural disasters are very destructive, but we always manage to get back. Drought can be very dangerous, it can dry plants up giving us less food, it will affect the animals we eat and they will die off if we don’t have plants. So then we don’t have meat supply or plants. Trees are dying off, becoming unable to absorb the carbon dioxide and not giving us oxygen. Then we would slowly die off, heat, exhaustion, dehydration, and starvation would be what we would know the last few days we live.
I don’t think that would be a very fun way to go out 🙂

  10. Mandi says:

Definitely how there will be less snow around here from the planet warming up from too much greenhouse gasses made by carbon emissions. It’s something I’ll have to get used to but won’t really enjoy, the north warming up is really upsetting for me. When I was younger there was so much more snow and I’m not even that old but now we’re getting less and less snow and it shows.

  11. Vincent says:

The increase in heat could change the Earth as I would know it. The increase in heat could harm agriculture, cause hunger, and decrease the population. As it gets hotter and the polar ice caps melt certain coast countries and states will be underwater.

  12. Mason D says:

When we talk about climate change the only effect that impacts me are the weather patterns. The weather throughout my lifetime used to have wet springs, warm summers, colorful autumns, and frigid cold winters. The weather within the past few years has been quick, the springs aren’t as wet as they once were, the warm summers seem to last forever, and the colorful trees in the autumn stay green until the first snowfall, and the cold winters don’t have as much snow as it used to.

  13. Caleb B says:

The impact of climate change that would effect me the most would be the change in rainfall. I take care of chickens as well as other birds like them. A change in rainfall would mean that the grass would be drier or greener and that would effect how well they do. A change in rainfall also effects how much water I can use due to my water source being a well.

  14. jevin says:

Well I in full honesty don’t think they’re gonna affect me that much, sure something will change but at the same time I probably die before I can realize how big the changes are because of how slow they are happening even though they’re rising kind of fast. But if I were worried about something to do with climate change I guess the rising sea levels even though that doesn’t affect me I still know someone that lives down there so if that place flooded that would suck. Otherwise the one that would actually affect me is the rise in heat because I like to go outside and go for bike rides which would be difficult in extreme heat.

  15. Phillip says:

The impacts of climate change that will impact me the most is when it warms up. I like the cold weather. It’s more comfortable for me and warm days aren’t for me. I think the summer was bad enough with 90 degree weather for most of that summer.

  16. dom says:

The increase in temperature by carbon monoxide. One way it would affect me is the droughts drying up the lakes. Without them I’d definitely would be out more assuming that with the lakes gone the humidity goes down

  17. kendra says:

The effect that will probably impact me the most are the storms we get. I have noticed that the storms have been increasing in severity these past few years and I’m afraid a tree will fall on my house because it is sort of in the woods. We’ve actually had more tornado warnings in my area this year than the last few years and it makes me a little terrified because I know it will continue to get worse if we don’t try to slow down climate change.

  18. Cole says:

I noticed a change in precipitation 2 years ago. The lakes were going down in water level because there wasn’t much snow to melt and keep the water level normal. In addition to lack of snow It didn’t really rain during the spring or summer as well, compounding the issue. Luckily, last winter and spring made up for the lack of precipitation from the previous year.
