Dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago. Was that a long time ago? Explain your answer.
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope. BARACK OBAMA
Dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago. Was that a long time ago? Explain your answer.
No, that was not a long time ago in the big scheme of things. If you compare the earth which was formed 4.5 billion years ago to only 65 million years then it’s not a very long time ago.
65 million years is a long time, even longer than waiting for the doctor, or the dentist, or a therapist, and lunch.
Yes, It is to humans and animals because they don’t live that long.
We as people think It was a real long time ago, But although It does seem like a long time it really isn’t considering the earth’s formation growth until today.
It was a long time ago to people but other things that have been here for a while it doesn’t feel that long ago.
To humans it seems like a long time since one human normally dies off within 0-100 years. If you think of how long the earth has been in the universe it doesn’t seem that long ago that dinosaurs died.
No, because there are billions and billions of years the universe has existed. So 65 million years isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things
65 Million years is a long time to us because we cant live even close to a quarter of that. But in reality its not a very long time. When you think about the fact that the earth has been around for billions of years.
Yes and no it was a long time ago because it’s 65 million years and to a human’s concept of time it is. But to the expanse of the space and time continuum, it is not that long ago.
To everyone and everything alive today 65 million years is a
very long time but considering how old this planet is,its not a very long time
Yes, To humans and animals it is a long time. Because they don’t live that long.
Yes and no, because if we took time from a humans scale, then it would be a log time ago, but if we did from an animals, it would be kinda short. So like if you asked a shark with the ability to speak and had information about their old ones, they’d say something like “Yeah dude! They were kinda ugly, but a pterodactyl was my great great, something great grandpas buddy who gave him food from the land! Too bad they died from [redacted]..”, since they’ve been around for such a long time.
To people it was a long time ago but to the earth it was not.
65 million years ago seems like a long time ago and it is. Yes it is a long time ago but to some people it doesn’t seem like a long time ago but 65 million is a big number.
No it wasn’t a long time ago because if the earth formed 4.5 billion years ago the dinosaurs extinction would be much more closer to today’s time on a timeline. For humans it might be considered a long time ago because we usually only live a few years after 100. But to earth obviously it didn’t happen a long long time ago.
Honestly I think that its a long time because we humans only live for about 130 years and 65 million years would be tons of centuries
I don’t think it was not that long ago because people have been on the earth for 300,000 years ago. End the world is 4.543 billion years old.
In human life span, it was a really long time but in the earth’s time or how long it has been here, it was a short time.
Yes, we feel it was a long time ago and we think it was a long time ago but to objects like mainly rock it was not.
Yes, because humans haven’t lived for more than 100 years. As for humans it is quite long but not for the planet.
i only lived 13 years and i think 13 years is a small number compared to 65 million
i lived 14 years and is a less number compared to 65 million years ago
its a long time ago because 1 million years ago is a long time but then 1 mil times 65 is a long time
I don’t think it was too long ago because the Earth formed 4.5 billion years ago. That is less than 1/45 of Earth’s time. There is more than Earth, so things probably happened way before Earth.
